Anastasia Egorova (Astrakhan, URSS 1981)
Her practice originates in an early encounter with clay during a childhood visit to a brick factory, an experience that established a lasting material and conceptual connection.
Based in Mallorca since 2005, she began developing her artistic language in 2007, working across ceramics, installation, and photography. Grounded in traditional ceramic training, her work has evolved towards a conceptual practice centred on installation and ceramic sculpture, with photography operating as a complementary and contextual medium.
Her work engages with the human condition, interpersonal relationships, and processes of transformation, often examining the tensions and interdependencies between human presence and the natural environment.
